Chevrolet Trax by Irmscher

Thursday, May 15, 2014

Irmscher has introduced a new styling program for the Chevrolet Trax. Sporting a monotone exterior, the model has been equipped with chrome door handles, side steps and 19-inch Aerostar alloy wheels. Customers can also order lowering springs (which reduce the ride height by 30mm) and a stainless steel or matte black exhaust system with round or oval tips.
Interior pictures were not released, but Irmscher can fulfill "every wish in terms of material, color and finish." Notable options include premium leather upholstery, stainless steel door sill plates, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and Irmscher branded floor mats.
The company is currently working on a performance package for the turbocharged 1.4-liter petrol engine. There's no word on how much it will produce, but the standard engine develops 140 HP (103 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque.

Wednesday, October 31, 2012

The Mokka is a fresh new name in Opel’s lineup and already it has received some attention from a tuner. German aftermarket specialist Irmscher has developed a customization program for the sub-compact SUV as Opel likes to call it.
At the front we notice the typical Irmscher honeycomb grille with a stainless steel cover, while the front end has also received some mild changes. There’s also a new roof spoiler and a different exhaust system located at the back. Inside the cabin, leather can be used for covering the multifunction steering wheel and the seats, while Irmscher has also designed different floor mats.
The Opel Mokka can be fitted with a lowering module that brings it closer to the road by 30mm and can ride on a new set of 20-inch Evo-Star or Turbo-Star alloy wheels. Irmscher is working on a power boost for the 1.4-liter turbo engine which in its standard configuration pumps out 125 hp (93 kW) and a peak torque of 147 lb-ft (200 Nm).

German tuner Irmscher has announced a tuning kit for the Opel Astra GTC.

First up is the engine tuning, whereby Irmscher dials output up on the 1.6 liter turbocharged unit to 220 PS (162 kW / 217 bhp) and 274 Nm (202 lb-ft) of torque from the series 180 PS (132 kW / 177 bhp).

Next is the body kit which sees the tuner add its own grille to the GTC, as well a full aerodynamic kit including front spoiler with lip, roof spoiler and a rear diffuser housing the elliptical quad exhaust (fitted by Irmscher).

For the ride is a 30 mm suspension lowering and 21-inch wheels wrapped in 245-sized tires.

The inside gets a finish in fine leather and aluminum pedals.
