Opel Mokka by Irmscher

Wednesday, October 31, 2012

The Mokka is a fresh new name in Opel’s lineup and already it has received some attention from a tuner. German aftermarket specialist Irmscher has developed a customization program for the sub-compact SUV as Opel likes to call it.
At the front we notice the typical Irmscher honeycomb grille with a stainless steel cover, while the front end has also received some mild changes. There’s also a new roof spoiler and a different exhaust system located at the back. Inside the cabin, leather can be used for covering the multifunction steering wheel and the seats, while Irmscher has also designed different floor mats.
The Opel Mokka can be fitted with a lowering module that brings it closer to the road by 30mm and can ride on a new set of 20-inch Evo-Star or Turbo-Star alloy wheels. Irmscher is working on a power boost for the 1.4-liter turbo engine which in its standard configuration pumps out 125 hp (93 kW) and a peak torque of 147 lb-ft (200 Nm).
